I am currently an international postgraduate student at the University of Melbourne, pursuing a degree in Publishing and Communications. I was born and raised in India and completed an undergraduate degree in Mass Media, with a major in Advertising, from Mumbai University. Following this, I worked as an academic editor for an organization that specializes in scientific communications.
As a publishing student, I am slowly discovering that there is so much more to books than the joy (or sorrow or horror or surprise) they bring to a reader, especially in this time of digitization. Through this website, I hope to provide a commentary on the issues, problems and developments that emerge as the publishing industry intersects and intertwines with digital media and technologies.
